Description
Here I've roughed in the belt and a cape. The cape is just a flattened piece of clay that I shaped with an exacto blade (slices sculpey like butter, very good for shaping). The cape went through a series of bending, tweaking and folding until it looked dynamic enough for the pose. I also roughed in the boots, cut the arm wires down to get some hand shapes going. The batarang test shape is made of paper (cut a few different sizes till I got the right one). It's finally starting to look like the image on the paper.
Tip:
As you work on a sculpt ALWAYS take pictures throughout the WHOLE process. The camera serves as a unbiased third eye and will show you what is "off" on your sculpt. The camera is not your friend and will quietly say "hey - that's crooked?" or " why is one hand bigger than the other?" and not care if it hurt your feelings one bit.

That's good advice with the camera. Mine's a real asshole.
